Cat on sill, Les Lantins

When we were shown our house we were told there were three cats about that were fed by the owner. We were given the option of feeding them or not, as they were all good at mousing in the nearby fields. As we have 2 cats of our own, it was great fun to be adopted by the three of them, who soon, as cats will, became rather vocal when they were hungry and greeted us at the end of every day, expecting their handouts.

Jim - came across this photo while researching a place to stay in Provence for the 1st week of October 2008. Did you stay at Les Lantins? If so I would greatly appreciate your comments on the place. Im considering it along with another farmhouse close to Bonnieux. We will have 2 maybe 3 couples and plan to tour the hilltop towns in the area and just relax. I live in Jacksonville also, I look forward to your reply

Sorry I didn't see this sooner Tim (and Jim).....we stayed at Les Lantins twice - this past May and two years previously.....absolutely loved it....near a small charming village and also close to the market town of Apt which has everything you could need and want. Great base for visiting all the "villages perches". But I also LOVE this house - the view out the back is second to none; the side yard with pool and cherry trees is relaxing...but best of all are those three adorable cats who we adopted happi and trained us well while we were there.
