It's odd the way one sees. Last week I took a picture of a little four-wheeled tool at the Jacksonville Beach ball fields. Two days ago I saw this little outfit by the beach. I never noticed them before. The other little thing is a few posts down.
This is a picture from 2006. My camera at the time was a Canon 10D and I was playing with a new Lensbaby, the most basic squeeze to focus model. Colors got bounced up by the RAW converter and I left them. It's fun to go back sometimes.
It is now April 2nd and I am experiencing my annual "blahs" or photographer's block or creative miasma. I don't know if it's my wanting to get my garden going or the sudden wonderful weather, but I stop seeing photographs. My suspicion is that as the sun climbs higher in the sky, the light get less of that slanted, dramatic look. Combine that with rising humidity, which takes some contrast out of the light, and I go out with the camera and see no pictures. I always adjust and enjoy the warm rich light of Spring and Summer, but it takes a while.
